By Maite Cajaraville
This project proposes to revisit old masters paintings which represent regulatory systems of our Western history, learing them of human presence in an attempt to re-position ourselves in a free environment and outside conditions.
Religion, state, government, educational environment, the medical disciplines, have imposed these "frames" of thought to individuals.
Maite Cajaraville intends to develop a new past, create a new archeology, through the "erasing lab." he project covers several paintings depicting these recognized systems. These tables correspond to each of the following:
è GOD = Religion = Garden Of Delights, Master Hieronymus Bosch (c. 1450–1516)
è MAD = Madness = Madhouse, Master Francisco de Goya, 1812 – 1819
è GOV = State or government
è EDU = Educational environments
This perfomance is based on GOD Garden of Delights by Hieronymus Bosch.
The characters of the paintings were rescued encourage through video editing software in real time.
The activity is over.
