I graduated with degrees in both Physics and Biochemestry in 2008 from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I then did a Masters degree in Neuroscience at the Universitat de Barcelona and another in Secondary Education at UNED. I completed a PhD in Biomedicine in the Lab of Albert Compte at IDIBAPS, where I studied serotonergic neuromodulation and schizophrenia dysfunctions in working memory. After a brief post-doc in the Lab of Tiago Maia at IMM (Lisbon), working in the field of computational psychiatry, I moved to the Lab of Gonzalo de Polavieja at Champalimaud Neuroscience Programme (Lisbon) to study human collective behavior.
